Kitten Odd Couple Proved the Purrfect Match
Oscar and Felix. The Blues Brothers. Ernie and Bert. The clown and straight guy make great comedy, and at times, great cat pairings! Cash came to us as an extremely shy kitten. After watching his sister and several roommates get adopted, he became reluctant to interact. Along came Swift, an “enthusiastic” kitten - so much that his own littermates found him a bit much. It seemed like an odd match, but our behavior team had a hunch this could be magic.
Sure enough, Swift brought Cash out of his shell. Cash, in turn, taught Swift a few manners. This odd couple bonded quickly. They were soon playing together, sleeping together and enjoying successful visits with everyone they met. ARF realized they needed each other to reach their full, furry potential. They were soon adopted as a bonded pair to continue bringing out the best in each other and their new family.
Finding the right home for an animal isn’t always easy. Resources provided by supporters allow ARF to invest the needed time and attention into every dog and cat so they can put their best paw forward in a new life. Thank you for helping to make this possible.
