Newly Graduated Pets and Vets Class
|
Last month, 21 former ARF shelter dogs matriculated from pets to service dogs thanks to the hard work and dedication of their veteran adopters.
ARF's Pets and Vets program transforms rescue dogs into skilled service animals for military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, severe depression, and more. The unique program allows veterans to train their dogs themselves under the guidance of our expert staff, furthering the human-animal bond and Saving Both Ends of the Leash®.

Celebrating Another Record-Breaking Year
|
As we make our way into 2020, we'd like to give one more look back at the fantastic year we just wrapped up thanks to you. Last year's milestones included 4,000+ spay and neuter surgeries performed, 16,000+ children enrolled in youth programs, 68,000+ people visited by Pet Hug Pack® therapy animals, 21 new Pets and Vets service dog teams, and our 42,000th pet adoption since we opened our doors in 1991.
See some of the adorable faces you've helped save in an end-of-year music video. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to another year of saving lives, inspiring learning, and connecting hearts.
