ARF’s New Pre-K Youth Program: Animal Tales
10.17 Animal Tales
An animal shelter can be magical place of education, inspiration, and fun! For a young child, it can also instill a lifelong passion for animal welfare. Join ARF on the third Thursday of every month at 9 am for Animal Tales! This new, free, drop-in program for caregivers with children Pre-K and younger is led by experienced and caring volunteers dedicated to creating a new generation of animal lovers. Children can expect free play in our Learning Center, animal storybook time, and interaction with a furry four-legged member of ARF’s Pet Hug Pack®. The next Animal Tales program will be on Thursday, October 19. See you and your tiny tot there!
Online Foster Orientation Now Available!
Online Foster
Ever considered fostering, but couldn’t make an orientation session? Problem solved! ARF now offers online fostering orientations. Fosters provide an essential step on the path to forever homes. Often, puppies and kittens aren’t old enough for adoption, or an animal needs a calm environment to recover from medical treatments. In fact, more than 40 percent of ARF dogs and almost half ARF cats spend more than a week in foster care. Fostering provides long-term love with short-term commitment. ARF provides all training, supplies, and medical care. And now, with online orientation, it’s even easier for you to share your loving home. Learn more here.
