The lateness of the hour was no problem for the dedicated group of ARF staff and volunteers meeting them in the parking lot, cheering when they saw the van pull in. “How many did you save?” one asked. “Twenty-four,” the team replied, and another round of cheers rang out. Pet Tip: Traveling With Your Dog
aug 16 pet tips

The dog days of summer are the perfect time to hit the road. Why not bring your dog along? Traveling with your dog, whether flying or driving, is not as difficult as it may initially appear. Do some research on your destination to find pet-friendly accommodations and brush up on any preventative measures you might need to take. If you do decide to bring your dog on an adventure, be sure their microchip and ID tags have up-to-date information in case you get separated. Get more travel tips in ARF’s Pet Care & Behavior Library.
